Piparelle, Zulli, Glazed delights

Piparelle are dry sweets typical of Sicilian pastry making in Messina. Prepared with simple ingredients such as flour, honey and almonds, they are sweets with an intense and spicy flavour. Zulli are more crumbly biscuits, prepared without almonds, they are ideal with passito. Finally, the glazed delights similar to piparelle but thinner and partly covered with pistachio or chocolate cream.
